John Thomas Payne

GENERAL:

United States Air Force Pilot for 29 years. Air Force Latin American Area Specialist with extended U.S. Embassy assignments in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Lima, Peru. Civilian contractor in aircrew training for 15 years including work with NASA Space Shuttle and International Space Station Programs. Began as an Adjunct History Instructor at Tomball College in Fall 2002. Received Tomball College Faculty Excellence Award for 2002-2003.

 ACADEMIC PREPARATION:

 9 semester hours of postgraduate History, University of Houston 2001-2002

             Concentration: United States History

M.A in International Affairs, Florida State University

             Concentration: History and Government

 B.G.E. in Mathematics, University of Nebraska at Omaha
