Welcome to U.S. History

The American story is a fascinating journey. Through my courses I hope to share that journey with my students. We will look at the good as well as the bad aspects of our history with an emphasis on why things happened.

I believe history is important because to paraphrase what one famous historian said, without history we are like a person who wakes up with amnesia and has no idea who he is or where he has been been.
