My name is Jason Ford and I am currently either a Professor or an Associate Professor (I always forget what the tenure thing is) in both Visual Communications and Game Design and Simulation.

I am a native Texan who loves tex-mex and Dr. Pepper, also known as God's gift to man.

I have an imitation golden retriever, named Aunt Sally for no other reason than I thought it would be funny in conversations. You should have seen the folks faces who were listening in to my conversation with my dad about how Aunt Sally would come into the kitchen and pick up the cat's poop and eat it. I almost felt like telling them I was refferring to my dog, but it was funnier the other way.

Anyway, I am also a MAC user, yes Apple's Rock! but I also have a PC. I have learned to respect both for their functions and the MAC is better suited for my graphic design background.

Speaking of which, I used to work for a small design firm in Houston called, the Vogel Group, working on a variety of clients from automobile dealers to restaurants to European furniture to South American clothing to hospital/medical services to resorts to yada, yada, yada. I honestly think I have worked on graphic design piece for almost every type of industry.

I graduated from Sam Houston State with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art in Advertising and Graphic Design.

I am currently seeking a Masters in Education in Instructional Technology as well as an additional 18 hours of history. I am extremely interested in the way gaming is coming on strong and researching how it can be incorporated more into higher education. I hope eventually to teach an interactive history course on the history of pirates as well as the knights of the middle ages.

And finally I hope to eventually move with my wife, son and pets to the Carolina's or Northern Georgia to live among the mountains I fell in love with as a kid.

So there you go, anything more and you'll need to be from the FBI.
