Course Description: This course will introduce the student to various ancient & historical cultures through the examination of a culture's history, philosophy, art, music, literature, and religious practice.

Requirements:

• Each student will participate in a collaborative project with several of their online peers.  Students will submit a written evaluation of the collaborative project.

• Each student will complete seven (7) quizzes covering information from the readings

• Each student will attend two (2) events - Musical Concert, Theatrical Production, or Art Exhibit - and will submit a written evaluation for each event (events must be approved by instructor)

• Each student will create seven (7) assignments based on readings and research

• Each student will participate in eight (8) class-wide discussions about various topics
