Course
Description:
This class will provide the actor with the
fundamentals of proper voice and diction techniques for the stage and
the screen. Each student will begin the
process of developing a PERSONAL technique through exercises, play
critiques, performance evaluations, and personal and group performances
that will apply to the student's life on and off the stage.

Requirements:
- Each
student will prepare and perform four (4) monologues based on classroom
work
- Each
student will prepare a written critique to accompany three of the
performed monologues
- Each
student will attend and actively discuss plays in Play Forum Sessions
- Each
student will attend two (2) LSC-Kingwood theatrical productions and
will submit a written evaluation for each production, focusing on vocal
work
- Each
student will actively participate in all classroom projects and
exercises
