Course
Description:
This class will provide the actor with the fundamentals of
proper movement techniques for the stage including characterization,
expressing emotion, stage combat, and choreography. Each student
will begin the process of developing a PERSONAL technique through
exercises, play critiques, performances, and evaluations that will
apply to the student's life on and off the stage.

Requirements:
- Each
student will prepare and perform four (4) exercises based on classroom
work - 2
monologues & 2 scenes. Written analyses will accompany each of
these
performance
- Each
student will complete four (4) online quizzes covering information from
class
handouts
- Each
student will attend two (2) LSC-Kingwood theatrical productions and
will submit
a written evaluation for each production, focusing on movement &
acting
- Each
student will actively participate in all classroom exercises and
projects
