Course
Description:
This class will provide the beginning actor with
the fundamentals of acting. Each student
will begin the process of developing a PERSONAL acting technique
through exercises, play critiques, performance evaluations, and
personal and group performances.

Requirements:
- Each
student will prepare and perform five exercises based on classroom
work; written analyses will accompany four of these performances and
will count as part of the project grade
- Each
student will complete four (4) Web CT quizzes covering information from
play readings
- Each
student will attend two (2) LSC-Kingwood theatrical productions and
will submit a written evaluation of each production, focusing on acting
- Each
student will actively participate in all classroom projects and
exercises
